The Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize is a non-acquisitive two and three dimensional art prize open to Australian visual artists, 18 years and over.
In 2020, there will be 2 main prizes, each $20,000.
One prize for 2D entries, and one for Sculpture (3D).
Artists will be invited to respond to the theme Of the Earth by submitting previously un-shown artworks, across multiple platforms and disciplines (with the exclusion of digital media or ephemeral matter), produced after 1st January 2019.
Shortlisted works will be chosen by a selection panel comprising of arts industry professionals. All shortlisted finalists will be invited to submit artworks to be exhibited in McLaren Vale, South Australia from 13 June - 19 July, 2020. The winning artworks will be selected from the finalists exhibited.
A People's Choice award of AU$3000 will be awarded at the conclusion of the exhibition to the artwork based on the vote from visitors to the exhibition.
